What is the AustrianStartups Summit 2026?
The AustrianStartups Summit is the annual meeting of the Austrian start-up scene. It is organised by AustrianStartups, the platform behind the Austrian Startup Monitor, programmes such as the Youth Entrepreneurship Week and the Startup World Cup Austria, and numerous community events.
At the summit, start-ups, scale-ups, investors and partners from business come together to exchange ideas, learn from each other and make new contacts. The motto “for serious fools” stands for people who work on real problems and believe in big ideas.
The AustrianStartups Summit 2026 took place on 15 October in the Ottakringer Brauerei in Vienna, which has hosted the event for years.
What we showed at our stand
At our stand it was all about the question that drives us at HASHLYNK: what happens to electricity from renewable plants that is not needed right now and hardly earns anything when fed into the grid? Thomas and Matthias showed how our systems turn this surplus into computing power right on site and feed the resulting heat back into the heating system.
Thank you for a great day!
A day full of good conversations, new contacts and real founder spirit: thank you to the AustrianStartups team, who every year create a place where the Austrian start-up scene comes together. Thank you to the Ottakringer Privatbrauerei for their hospitality in a special atmosphere. And above all, thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, asked questions and joined the discussion.
